Thank you for the article covering the cost to the ratepayers of the South Gippsland Shire Council’s administrators, seems the 3 part-time workers cost more than all the councillors for the previous year $576,396 to $445,626. I think most would say $98k for a couple of days per week and $192k for the chair is pretty good pay, perhaps it is because they are state government appointees or, as per their publicity, they are doing a fantastic job. Administrator Zahra costs the most in travel and vehicle expenses ($8934) and considerably more than the others in accommodation and meals $(7645), lucky for us he has been “working” from home lately.
