I had an interesting day today!
It started this morning with some essential, weekly food shopping in a Leongatha supermarket. I typically aim to shop early. It’s usually not a busy time and allows me to run in and out, leaving a big chunk of my remaining day for productive tasks.
I’ve been wanting to pen this wonderful experience for so long, as it’s still a regular occurrence, which continually melts my heart.
Now, during this abnormal pandemic phase, it’s even more significant and an appropriate reminder for us all …

Wildlife Shelter And Rescue – A Commendable Commitment.
I am continually in awe of our wildlife shelters scattered throughout South Gippsland, and the kind, competent people behind the scenes determined to make an on-going difference to the lives of our beautiful native creatures.
Australians are doing a tremendous job self isolating and social distancing. We are now one of the leading countries heading in the right direction, minimising the Corona virus spread.
We are especially fortunate in our beautiful South Gippsland region, away from the city hot spots, but we still have a way to go.
Let us not loosen the chains just yet …
