Statement – Closure of Bendigo Bank Korumburra
The way people choose to conduct their banking continues to change. As a result, the Bank regularly reviews its physical branch network, customer transaction activity and visitor numbers to ensure it continues to meet those changing needs.
Following a recent review at Bendigo Bank Korumburra and after considering other options, the Bank has made the difficult decision to close the branch located at 32 Commercial St, Korumburra VIC 3950 at 2pm on 14 May 2021.
We understand this change may impact how some customers conduct their banking. An increasing number of customers now choose to complete their day-to-day banking online or over the phone and to ensure continued support for customers and the community, in line with the continuing evolution in banking behaviour, there are a range of banking options available for customers.
From 14 May 2021, all account holders at Bendigo Bank Korumburra will be automatically transferred to Bendigo Bank Leongatha, located at 12 McCartin St, Leongatha VIC 3953. An ATM is also available at Bendigo Bank Leongatha to provide convenient access to cash. Our staff at Bendigo Bank Leongatha can assist any customers interested in learning about alternate banking methods.
Customers can also transact as normal at any bank ATM or Bendigo Bank branch and can continue to transact 24/7 online, via our mobile app and on 1300 BENDIGO (1300 236 344).
Additionally, customers can access face-to-face banking at any of the more than 3,500 Australia Post outlets nationally using Bank@Post. In Korumburra, customers can access the Bank@Post service at Korumburra LPO, 30 Commercial Street.
