The photo shows “Two Shots” when he was a 2 yo just after being broken in to racing.

Janet Hadow from Nyora is a part owner of a horse called “Cliff”. On the racetrack he is called “Two Shots”. Two Shots is trained in Shady Creek by trainer Craig Blackshaw and it won at Traralgon in a maiden set weight race on November 29th. Two Shots was ridden by Jockey Patrick Maloney and he carried 59kg and won by 2.3 lengths. The trainer had a good day with another winner (Eagle Spirit) at the same meeting. The trainer said it was a great day at the office and he congratulated all the connections whom he said were a bunch of loyal owners and he was pleased to get results for them.

The trainer was a jockey himself and his father Daryl is also a trainer at Moe. The trainer’s wife Kristy is the daughter of a legendary jockey Kevin Langby who won multiple group ones when he was riding. Janet has always been involved in racing through her parents and has only just got back into racing as she used to only breed and then sell them.

The horse “Cliff” is currently at the trainers Craig Blackshaw at his training centre in Shady Creek. He has his own racetrack in a very well set up facility. The trainer says the horse has pulled up well after the race and will probably run over a bit further next week at Moe.
