An army of public hygiene and land maintenance workers employed to help slow the spread of coronavirus has been bolstered in a major push backed by the Victorian Government’s Working for Victoria fund.

Although some of our leaders talk of “snapping back” and otherwise returning to normal – no one has any idea of what the ”new” normal will, in fact, be like.
As of 2 June 2020, there are 1,663 confirmed coronavirus cases in Victoria with 10 new cases overnight. More than 521,000 tests have been conducted, 1,563 have recovered and there have been 19 deaths.
Victoria’s population is set to double by 2050. As our population rises, so will our demand for quarry materials such as rock, gravel and sand in order to build homes, infrastructure and private sector development. It’s vital to ensure extractive resources are sourced close to where they’ll be used in construction.
