The trend down is continuing and daily numbers are coming down. Lets keep safe, practice social distancing and proper hygiene control and this should continue to get better.

The chart suggests that mid-September is when we will see active case numbers back down at those levels of mid-June. That does not mean we can drop our guard and change our behaviours.

Mid-September will be an interesting time for the State and Federal Government to indicate the way forward considering that any possible vaccine is likely no earlier than mid-2021.

In today’s press conference Daniel Andrews suggests when the figures get back down that we have to keep the numbers suppressed. Need to keep the virus down. He repeats as always we must be guided by the data and the science and at the right time we will consider what to do going forward.
