Not Happy with CEO Response!

So, they are salting away funds, for no idea what, after just baulking at the possibility of having to part with a piddling amount of $100k to establish the Equestrian/Event/Exhibition Centre proposed for Stony Creek. That is a project put together by a group of dedicated volunteers – the people this council likes to praise – but in this case – have turned their back on. It’s only a matter of 3 or 4 years since this project topped the list of projects the community wanted.

The council decision to not support this project flies in the face of its own policies concerning Youth Support, Recreation, Tourism development et al. Our Administrator’s/Administration are so out of touch with the ‘died in the wool’ South Gippslander that maybe a ‘re-education’ course for them should be on the ‘ Priority Project’ list. When will they actually get behind a project that has a tangible ROI potential?

Future candidates for council elections must attend a re-education (read brainwashing) course before they are allowed to nominate – how about we demand our ‘leaders’ must have passed a course at, let’s say, the Melbourne School of Business Management before they are inflicted upon us These Administrator’s should hang their heads in shame!
