We are a group of individuals in South Gippsland who wish to see an avenue for independent views and opinions to be shared within the community. With the recent closure of so many local papers across Australia we felt that now was the time to start a community newspaper where any community members could contribute crowd sourced content and unbiased and fair opinion would be shown on all topics by those supplying content and those tasked with the job of editing and compiling the newspaper content on the website.

The individuals involved with this newspaper are effectively volunteers supplying their time and efforts to bring about the goal of a real community newspaper that speaks up for and represents all residents and not just a particular crowd.

As the newspaper develops we will look to expand our volunteer base. If you are able and willing to supply content on suitable material for community interest please contact the Editor.
